Connect to motor
Connect voltage measurement
3. Now the current clamps are installed, it is time to branch the voltage sensor. The voltage per phase wire is measured through a direct, insulated pick-off branch. Two options are available. Either the motor has a dedicated voltage transformer where the voltage will be measured or there will be a centralized transformer for multiple assets.
In both options, branching from the source or an (existing) feed-through terminal block is used. Both options are fused with a 2A fuse.
Option 1: Transformer dedicated to the specific motor used.
Option 2: Central transformer in the room used.
4. Install three fused terminal blocks on the DIN rail
5. Measure the required wire length between the motor and the fused terminal blocks. Cut three extra phase wires to the correct size and install ferrules on both ends.
 6. Install the extra phase wires in the motor.
7. Open the connector of the fused terminal block using a screwdriver and install the phase wire on the fused terminal block.
8. Check on which phase the terminal block has been installed and add the corresponding phase marking on the phase wire between the motor and the terminal block.
